Whooooooo Hooooo!!!! It's Saturday!!!! Freedom Day!!! Having a coffee, and enjoying reading and posting here on teamsugar!!! Another whirlwind week, and now it is time to wind down, and rest up. This morning we went to the beach and had a coffee while sitting in the car, in the rain. Then we went for a little drive around town. It seems to be becoming a Saturday Ritual, while the weather still allows it. This weekend is definitely going to be about R&R, as soon we will be using time to get ready for Christmas. At work, I met the deadline to hand in my gift requests to the adopt a family program, and gave away a lot of free coats that came in. What a great feeling, some of my families that needed coats, were leaving with armfuls of coats, by OLD NAVY, COLUMBIA, LLBEAN, and other high end brand names. These coats were donated to us, by through a promotion at stores, where shoppers got to bring in their old coats and receive a significant discount on their new ones. I love that ergonomic way of doing business. It is win/win, and that is great when the business community can make that happen. You should see the looks on kids faces when they got these neat coats!!! Hope it brings a smile to your heart in sharing like it does to mine.
